Colorado State Highway 5 leaves Denver and keeps climbing until the road ends at 14,130 feet - snowfields in July, the Front Range dropping away below you, and nothing between your front wheel and the sky. That is the Mount Evans Byway, the highest paved road in North America, and it starts at Denver's doorstep. The same afternoon you can peel off down through Red Rocks Park, the massive red sandstone walls rising 400 feet either side of the road, and be back in the city before dark. Three hundred sunny days a year means this place rides hard. Original Denver biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

The Bighorn Ram at 5,280 Feet

Ride the mountain roads out of Denver long enough and you meet him: the Rocky Mountain bighorn ram, standing on the shoulder at 11,000 feet, horns curling back, in no hurry to move for your V-twin. Riders have been pulling over for bighorn crossings on the Mount Evans run for decades, so he is the ram we put on the chest - side-on, horns dominant, drawn big. Around him we built the country every Denver ride crosses: the jagged Front Range wall stacked against the plains, the Capitol's gold dome catching afternoon light, and the '5280' figure that logs the exact altitude your engine is fighting. The banner reads 'Mile High City'. Wear the animal that shares your road.

Materials & Who It's For

This one is made for the Denver local who rides the mountain circuit on their days off, the touring rider checking Mount Evans off the bucket list, and anyone who rolled through Red Rocks Park on two wheels and wants something to remember it by. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
