Online Analytics and Tailored Advertising

Online Analytics

The Services use third-party web analytics services to help us understand how riders use our site. The information these services collect is disclosed to or collected directly by these vendors and used to evaluate, improve, and secure the Services.

The analytics services we currently use:

  • Plausible Analytics: A privacy-friendly analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites or devices.
  • Microsoft Clarity: A behavioral analytics service from Microsoft Corporation. Clarity records anonymized session interactions (clicks, scrolls, page navigation) and aggregates them into heatmaps and session replays so we can identify usability issues. Clarity masks form inputs, password fields, and other sensitive content by default. Microsoft acts as a data processor on our behalf. Microsoft Clarity may set first-party and third-party cookies (including _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, SM, MR) for the purpose of distinguishing unique sessions. To learn more or opt out, see Microsoft’s privacy policy at https://privacy.microsoft.com.

To opt out of analytics tracking generally, you can use your browser’s privacy settings, install browser extensions that block analytics scripts, or send Do Not Track signals.

Tailored Advertising

The Services also makes use of third-party advertising technologies to place cookies or other tracking technologies on your computer, mobile phone, or other device to collect information about your use of the Services in order to (a) inform, optimize, and serve marketing content based on past visits to our websites and other sites and (b) report how marketing content impressions and interactions with these marketing impressions are related to visits to our websites.

If you are interested in more information about tailored browser advertising and how you can generally control cookies from being put on your computer to deliver tailored marketing, you may visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s Consumer Opt-Out Link, the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Consumer Opt-Out Link, and/or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance to opt-out of receiving tailored advertising from companies that participate in those programs.
