Every November, Seawall Boulevard closes to cars from 19th to 25th Street and 150,000 motorcycles park nose-in along the Gulf - palms overhead, brown pelicans cutting low over the surf, the Pleasure Pier Ferris wheel spinning out past the break. The Gulf Coast rally has been filling this island since 2001 and there is nothing else like it in North America: a Victorian iron-front district at your back and open Gulf water in front of you. We built this collection for the riders who make that run. Original Galveston biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

Salt-Bleached Skull, Seawall Bound

Picture the run: Seawall Blvd shut to cars, the bikes lined nose-in along the water, the Gulf loud on one side and pipes loud on the other. That is what this collection is drawn from. The mark is a Longhorn skull, wide-horned and blunt, but we rendered it for the coast: bone bleached white by salt air and Gulf sun, a faint Lone Star on the forehead like it weathered a few hurricane seasons. Around it we set the scene as riders actually see it from the saddle. Pelicans gliding off the breakwater. Sabal palms leaning hard into the breeze. The Pleasure Pier arching into open water behind the bike line, The Strand's cast-iron cornices anchoring the background. The banner reads 'Seawall Bound', the shorthand for where every bike in this crowd is headed every November.

Materials & Who It's For

This one is built for three kinds of riders: the Texas Gulf Coast local who uses the Galveston Gulf Coast Rally as their annual homecoming, the out-of-state rider who finally made the road trip south to the seawall, and the partner or crew member buying a 'made it to Galveston' piece before the next November run. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps are raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
