Maryland Bobber Apparel

Route 50 across the Bay Bridge is four miles of suspended pavement over open water, and every September it carries 150,000 bikes toward the Atlantic. On the other side sits Ocean City, one of the East Coast's few biker towns where the salt air and the motor noise mix from Thursday through Sunday. The design is built from what Maryland actually is out here: the blue crab spread wide in orange and black, marsh grass at low tide, and the twin spans fading into the bay behind you. Original Maryland biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

The Blue Crab and the Free State

Anybody who has parked a bike at the Ocean City Inlet in September knows the crab before they know anything else about Maryland. So that is the mark we wear: the Chesapeake Bay blue crab, claws spread wide in a top-down view that lands as hard as a full chest print or a small breast icon. We ran the shell in orange and black, distressed like it earned it, not like it came off a souvenir rack. The scene around it is the Eastern Shore a rider actually sees: bay marsh at golden hour, the Bay Bridge spans behind you, and a row of bikes at the Inlet where 85-plus vendors and four days of live music take over each fall. The banner closes on the nickname every Free State rider carries: The Free State.

Materials & Who It's For

This one lands for the rider who made the Bay Bridge run and wants something to show for it, the Maryland native who carries the state wherever they ride, and the East Coast cruiser planning their first September trip down Route 50. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at every stress point. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
