Massachusetts Bobber Apparel
Route 6A runs 62 miles from Bourne all the way to Provincetown at land's end, salt marsh and shingled cottages the whole way, the Atlantic cutting in on your right whenever the trees open up. Most riders who've done it once come back. Out past Dennis the road narrows, the light goes amber in the afternoon, and by the time you roll into P-town the dunes are piled up against the Pilgrim Monument tower like a second skyline. This collection is cut for everyone who's made that run. Original Massachusetts biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.
The Right Whale, the Sacred Cod, and the Bay State
Run 6A from Bourne to Provincetown and the Atlantic is with you the whole way. That water is where the mark on this apparel comes from. The mascot is the North Atlantic right whale, the Bay State's own marine mammal, and we drew it breaching - the huge smooth black back clearing the surface, no dorsal fin, nothing else like it on any state's flag or seal. Around the whale sits the scene a rider picks up on the run: dunes stacked at Provincetown, a cod weathervane off the coast that named the Cape, and the road itself. The banner reads The Bay State, named for the bay this whole ride wraps around. Built for riders who put the miles in, not tourists who drove through.
Materials & Who It's For
This one is for the Boston-area rider with a Cape run on the calendar, the Massachusetts transplant living out of state who still calls the Bay State home, and anyone who rode Route 6A and wants something to show for it besides a sunburn. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece, double-needle stitched where it counts. Caps are raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
