Nebraska Bobber Apparel
Highway 2 starts at Grand Island and runs 272 miles west through the Sandhills before it reaches Alliance, and on a weekday morning you can ride the whole stretch without passing another bike. Rolling dune fields, windmills, small lakes catching the light, the occasional cattle gate - and no traffic. That solitude is what Nebraska riders know that nobody else does. The western meadowlark calls from every fence post along that corridor, yellow chest out, black V sharp against the grass. We built this collection around that bird and that road. Original Nebraska biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.
Meadowlark, Dunes, and the Cornhusker State
Ride Highway 2 through the Sandhills and the meadowlark is your company the whole way - yellow breast, black V, singing off the wire while the dunes roll on for miles. That is the bird we put at the center of this collection. We drew it side-profile on a barbed-wire fence post, chevron clean enough to read at distance, and built the Nebraska scene around it: the rolling Sandhills dunes of that 272-mile run, Scotts Bluff standing over the North Platte valley, the canyon greenery of the Niobrara River where the road drops into cool water and stone. The bottom banner carries 'The Cornhusker State', the same name on the plate under your seat. This is the mark for riders who found the empty roads and want to wear where they have been.
Materials & Who It's For
This one is for the Nebraska-born rider who wants a piece of home that doesn't look like a souvenir rack, and for the Midwest tourer who completed the Highway 2 Sandhills run and wants something to show for it. It also lands hard as a gift for any Great Plains rider who knows that the best American roads are the ones nobody talks about. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
