The Radschläger - Why This Figure on a Motorcycle Tee
The Rhine valley is one of Germany's classic riding corridors, and Düsseldorf is where it ends up north. Come off that run into the Altstadt and the cartwheeler is everywhere, on the city logo, on the bronze fountain at Burgplatz. We pulled that same Radschläger onto the chest, limbs spread in a spinning X at full motion, Rheinturm standing behind it. A spinning figure and a wheel belong together. Riders rolling in from the river, or heading east for the tighter Bergisches Land stuff, know exactly what the mark means the second they see it.
