Thirty minutes west of the CBD the D'Aguilar Range kicks up out of the flat and the road to Mount Nebo and Mount Glorious starts earning its name - subtropical rainforest canopy overhead, tight corners back to back, and almost no one out there on a weekday. Brisbane riders have been running these twisties since the roads were cut. Down at the foot of the Story Bridge in Kangaroo Point, the pub at the bottom has been the natural end point for those same riders coming back into the city for decades. Brisvegas, as anyone from there calls it. Original Brisbane biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

The Koala, the Bridge, and Brisvegas

Ride the Nebo road often enough and you learn to read koalas in the eucalyptus forks off the shoulder. That is where the mascot came from. Round-eared, wedged in the branch, drawn with enough weight to hold a chest print but kept muted in grey-brown so it lands as Workshop Noir, not a zoo gift shop. Around it we set the Story Bridge steel spanning the river, the same span you cross coming back from Kangaroo Point at the end of a run. A classic V-twin on the Nebo road fills the lower panel, because that is the ride this whole thing is built around. The banner carries 'Brisvegas', the name locals drop with a straight face and a grin. This is the mark Queensland riders wear home.

Materials & Who It's For

This one is for the Queensland local buying for their crew, the British or American rider who finally did the east coast run and made it as far as Brisbane, and the Australian expat in London who wants a piece of home that isn't a cheap flag magnet. Identity gift for a Brisbane rider who takes the D'Aguilar roads every weekend. Real souvenir for anyone who toured down the Bruce Highway and stopped long enough to mean it. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
