At 4,200 metres on the Paso de Jama, the tarmac ends and the Atacama begins - no trees, no other traffic, just white salt flats in the valley and volcanic peaks on both sides. That is where this design starts. Push south from there, through the blood-red dunes of the Valle de la Luna, all the way down to the Carretera Austral threading 1,240 km of unpaved Patagonian rainforest: this is one of the longest, harshest motorcycle routes on the planet. Riding Chile end to end earns you the right to wear the condor. Original Chile biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

Why the Condor Belongs on This Shirt

Pull off the Valle de la Luna road at first light and you might catch the Andean condor rising on a thermal above the canyon wall, wingspan up to 3.3 metres, the same bird that rides the air over the Patagonian fjords 4,300 km south. That is the mark on this shirt. We drew it in flat glide from below, white wing patches and neck ruff clear, a clean angular silhouette that reads across a fuel stop instead of a feather-by-feather illustration. Around it we layer the ochre rock of the Valle de la Luna, the Carretera Austral forest track, and the high-altitude crossing of Paso de Jama. The full length of Chile in one graphic, drawn for the rider who has covered that ground or plans to.

Materials & Who It's For

This one lands for the adventure touring rider who has already ridden the Carretera Austral or the Atacama circuit - and for the rider who has it on the list. It is also the right identity piece for any Chilean rider who wants their national bird on something built for the garage, not the gift shop. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
