Pull onto M-22 north of Frankfort and the dunes stack up on your left, 400 feet of sand dropping straight into Lake Michigan while the road threads between the trees and the water. Ride it in July when the Lake Michigan Shoreline Rally fills Muskegon, or push north over the Mackinac Bridge into the Upper Peninsula where the forest closes in and the roads stay empty for miles. Michigan riders know both worlds: the shoreline curves and the U.P. backcountry run, all of it wrapped around more freshwater coast than California and Florida put together. Original Michigan biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

The Wolverine Nobody's Seen

Ride the M-22 shoreline in summer, cross the Mackinac Bridge, run the U.P. loop out of Gould City in June, and you have covered the ground this gear is drawn from. The mark riders wear here is the wolverine, the state's own creature, low and forward, broad-headed, forepaws out, the way the animal moves when it means business. A fierce silhouette that hits hard on a chest print and reads clean across a rally lot. Around it we set the Sleeping Bear Dunes over the lake, the five-mile span of the Mackinac Bridge, and M-22 cutting along the shoreline. The banner carries 'The Great Lakes State', earned across 3,288 miles of freshwater coast the crews keep riding.

Materials & Who It's For

This one is built for the Michigan-born rider who wears the state wherever the road takes them, the crew that runs M-22 each summer, and anyone who has done the U.P. loop and wants something that marks the trip properly. It also lands as a straight gift for Midwest riders who know what Muskegon Bike Time means to this state. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
