The Condor at Altitude - Why This Bird on This Shirt
The Andes circuit is a rider's route first. Two men proved it in 1952 on a 1939 Norton 500cc, running north out of Buenos Aires into the mountains, and riders still trace that line through Mendoza and up to Bariloche today. Overhead the whole way rides the condor, working the thin air above the passes where the road tops out. That is the bird stamped on the chest of this Argentina tee, drawn in a soaring glide with the neck ruff and primary feathers detailed enough to read from across a mountain-town bar.
