Every April 23rd the city stops for Sant Jordi - roses in hand, books under arm, the dragon-knight painted on every second wall from the Gothic Quarter out to Montjuic. Barcelona does not just put up monuments to this stuff; it lives it. The city also runs more motorcycles per capita than anywhere else in Europe, which is not an accident when the streets are tight, the weather is close to perfect, and the roads up Montjuic give you the best urban riding on the continent. The Museu Moto sits in the Gothic Quarter, 600 square metres of Catalan motorcycle history packed between Roman stone walls. Original Barcelona biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

Sant Jordi, the Dragon, and the Senyera

Ride Montjuic on a clear morning and you understand why Barcelona keeps more bikes on the road than any city in Europe. That scene is what these shirts are built for, and the mark you wear on them is Sant Jordi - patron of Catalonia, drawn as a knight in profile with his lance levelled and the dragon already losing. Hard graphic, no sentiment: knight, lance, beast, done. Behind him runs the Senyera, four red stripes on gold. The Sagrada Familia spires rise in silhouette, the Montjuic ridge closes the horizon behind the bike, and the banner carries Visca Catalunya - long live Catalonia, the city's oldest rallying cry. Wear it on the ride down or over the wrench in the garage.

Materials & Who It's For

This one is built for three kinds of riders: the traveller who came to Barcelona, pointed the bike up Montjuic, and wants something better than a tourist-shop print to bring home; the Catalan rider who wants their own city on their chest; and the European biker who dropped down through the Pyrenees passes to reach the Mediterranean and earned a piece of it. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
