Bochum Bobber Apparel
Every group ride out of Bochum ends the same way: someone calls 'Glückauf' across the parking lot and the bikes roll. That word - the old miner's send-off, 'may the shaft open safely' - never stopped being used here. The Bochumer Biker IG built it into their motto: Alleine fahren war gestern, riding alone is a thing of the past. This collection is cut for that crew, working the Ruhrgebiet industrial heritage routes, parking under the Zeche Holland headframe, unwinding in the Bermuda3Eck bar district when the evening comes. Original Bochum biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.
Coal City, Working Hands, Open Road
Ride the Ruhrgebiet heritage route out of Bochum and you pass what this artwork is built from - old colliery roads, converted mine-site parkland, the road running west. The mark you wear is the Bergmann: hard hat, crossed Schlegel und Eisen, a dark silhouette that carries a hundred years of coal and the working-class city around it. Riders here read it without explanation, because the same working hands run both cultures. We drew the figure clean and dark, then built the scene around him - the steel lattice of the Zeche Holland winding tower against a grey sky, the BERMUDA3ECK neon burning red across the district, and Glückauf on the banner, the send-off the Bochumer Biker IG still trades across the lot before the group rolls out.
Materials & Who It's For
This one lands for the Bochum-born rider who moved away but kept the roots, the Ruhrgebiet native who does the industrial heritage route once a year, and anyone who spent a night in the Bermuda3Eck and wants to take something real home. It reads as a hometown patch to locals and a cultural deep-cut to everyone else. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
