München Bobber Apparel

München was founded in 1158 by Heinrich der Löwe - Henry the Lion - and the lion never left. It guards the gates of the Residenz, where locals still rub the muzzles of the small stone lions for luck, and it stands on the Bavarian arms as the hardest symbol this city owns. Down in the Werksviertel, shops like Diamond Atelier have been building one-off café racers and bobbers on airhead boxer platforms since 2013, precision engineering meeting raw custom metal in a city that invented the flat-twin. The Alps start 45 minutes south. The routes into them are the kind that end conversations. Original München biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

Lions, Airheads, and Mia San Mia

Pull into any München meet and the machines tell the story: hand-built airheads out of shops like Diamond Atelier and WalzWerk, crouched low, precision metal that riders here take into the Alps every clear weekend. That scene is what we put on the garment. The mascot is the Bavarian lion, drawn as a living animal, full mane, tough and naturalistic - the oldest mark this city owns, and the one you wear to say where you ride. Around it sits the twin onion domes of the Frauenkirche and a custom crouched on wet cobblestones after dark. The banner closes on three words München has carried for generations, the ones riders say when the road gets long: Mia san mia.

Materials & Who It's For

This one was made for the Münchner who rides, the BMW Motorrad fan visiting the museum and also owns a garage, and the international rider using München as the base camp for an Alpine tour. It also reads as a genuine souvenir for anyone who came for the city's autumn beer festival and left planning a return trip with a bike. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps are raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
