Stand on the Quai du Mont-Blanc at first light and the Jet d'Eau is already running - a white column pushing 140 metres above Lac Léman while Mont Blanc sits behind it in the cold. That same shore is where the Route des Grandes Alpes begins, Geneva to the Mediterranean through 17 Alpine passes. The other direction takes you the long way around the lake: 382km of vineyard-lined Vaud Riviera, the French Chablais, and back through the city as the sun goes down over la rade. This collection is built for riders who use this place as a launchpad. Original Genève biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.
La Rade, the Alps, and the World's Tallest Fountain
Riders come to Geneva for the roads that leave it. The Route des Grandes Alpes drops off the lake shore and runs 17 passes to the Mediterranean. The other way it is the full 382km loop of Lac Léman, vineyard terraces one side, water the other. The mark we print for that riding is the Jet d'Eau, the 140-metre plume you see from 40km out before the city shows. We drew its tapered silhouette with the Mont Blanc outline low behind and the lake flat beneath, then cut the breast print down to the plume alone, elongated and clean in a single color. The banner carries 'La Rade', the Genevois name for the bay it fires from - the word that tells another rider you actually know this place, not just passed through it.
Materials & Who It's For
This one was made for the Geneva local buying a ride-day gift for a friend abroad, the international rider who based here to run the Route des Grandes Alpes, and the traveller who combined a conference on the lake with a 382km circuit before flying home. It works as hometown pride and as the only Geneva souvenir worth carrying on a tank bag. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
