Zürich Bobber Apparel

At the junction where the Grimsel and Susten roads meet near Innertkirchen, hundreds of bikes stack up on summer days - riders who left Zürich that morning, Alpine meadows behind them, dark tarmac still winding ahead. The city is the launch pad. Two hours out and you are already on passes that riders cross continents to reach: the Susten, the Grimsel, the Gotthard, the Furka. The Motorradfreunde Zürich community turns out regularly for these runs, all types of bikes, no velvet rope. This collection is for them. Original Zürich biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

Golden Lion, Cobbled Alleys, and the Pass Road Out

The mascot is the rampant golden lion from the Zürich coat of arms - standing upright on its hind legs, left foreleg raised, the way it has represented this city since the medieval guilds carved it into stone. It has appeared on the city flag and civic buildings for centuries, and the form carries exactly the energy that belongs on a bike graphic: upright, forward, no apology. We built the scene around it: the twin Romanesque towers of the Grossmünster above the Limmat, the narrow cobbled lanes of the Niederdorf quarter threading between guild-house facades, and the Alpine horizon that reminds you every clear day what lies two hours south. Speak Züridütsch, ride the passes. That is the short version.

Materials & Who It's For

This one is for the Zürich-based rider who needs a piece that actually reflects what riding here means, the international touring rider who centred a Swiss pass circuit in the city, and the Swiss diaspora rider abroad who still calls Zürich home. It lands as a hometown piece to locals and a genuine Alpine souvenir to everyone else. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
