Forge, Valley, and Glückauf

Ride out of Hagen and you are on the doorstep of the Sauerland, dam roads and forest passes waiting a few kilometers south. That is why the mark on this gear is the blacksmith at the anvil - hammer raised, sparks thrown from the forge down in the Mäckingerbach valley, where the old smithies still fire daily. It is the same instinct that lives in every garage: work the metal, build the thing, ride it. That is why we chose it over any painted crest. Above the forge sits Burg Hohenlimburg, keeping watch from its hilltop over the Lenne Valley, one of the most intact medieval fortresses in Westphalia. The banner carries 'Glückauf', the old Ruhrgebiet greeting still spoken where coal country gives way to forest. The whole gateway city, worn by the riders who launch from it.

Materials & Who It's For

This one is built for the Hagen-born rider who left and still carries the city, the Freilichtmuseum visitor who walked those forge workshops and felt the connection, and the custom builder who understands that working metal is working metal whether the hammer is swinging in 1780 or today. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
