Japan Bobber Apparel

Since 1978, factory teams have been running flat-out through the night at Suzuka, lap after lap under the floodlights on that figure-eight layout, the crossover bridge lit up above them. The Suzuka Eight Hours Endurance Race is where Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki built their reputations in front of a home crowd - and the precision that defines Japanese motorcycle building shows up in every part. That same shokunin spirit, the artisan's pursuit of mastery, runs through the way riders here approach a wrench or a weld. Original Japan biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

Tsuru: the Crane Japan Puts on Everything

Every one of these pieces wears the same mark: the red-crowned crane, the tancho, wings open, white body, black tips, one red crown patch. It is the graphic Japan puts on everything it means, so it is the right thing to wear on your back at a meetup or under a jacket on a mountain pass. We drew it clean and let the form do the talking. Behind it sits Mount Fuji above the cloud cover on the old Tokaido road, and a torii gate frames the horizon the way rolling into Japan actually feels. The banner closes on one word: Shokunin - the artisan's standard that runs through how riders here treat a wrench, a weld, and a build.

Materials & Who It's For

This one is the piece for the Japanese expat who rides in the US, Europe, or Australia and wants something that actually feels like home. It lands equally for the international rider who made the Japan pilgrimage - coastal roads in Okinawa, a lap of Suzuka, the mountain passes above Fuji - and for any rider who owes their machine to the engineering that came out of those four factories. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
