Korean expressways are off-limits to bikes - no exemptions, no debate. So when a Seoul rider wants the east coast, they point the front wheel at Hangyeryeong, Route 44, and climb 5,000 feet through Seoraksan granite before they ever smell the sea. That forced detour turned into a culture: a single mountain pass that every rider in the country knows by name, with the jagged ridge line as the backdrop and Sokcho waiting at the bottom. Horangi, the Mountain Pass, and the Han River at Night

Run the pass to Sokcho on a cold morning and the ridge stays with you long after the ride. That is the scene we put on these pieces. The mark you wear is the Horangi, the Korean tiger drawn the old Joseon way in minhwa folk-art: broad rust-orange stripes, bold hand-drawn lines, that fierce and knowing look riders have grown up with. We used the public-domain folk tradition, never the corporate or Olympic version, because it belongs to the road and the culture, not to a committee. Behind the tiger, the sharp Seoraksan granite you climb on the way east. Off to the side, a two-cylinder cruiser silhouette that nods to Korean bike-building since 1978. And the Han River skyline at the bottom, Seoul lit up with a bike parked on the path.
