Singapore Bobber Apparel
On Friday nights at the old KTM railway terminal in Tanjong Pagar, a small crew of Singapore riders rolls in around 10pm. No big production, just bikes lined up outside the colonial facade, a brief chat, then north through the 2nd Link into Malaysia before anyone else is even awake. That Friday rhythm, tight-knit and self-organized, sits at the core of what we built here. The lion's head on the chest comes from the founding story of Singapura itself - the creature Sang Nila Utama sighted at the river mouth that gave this city its name. Original Singapore biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.
Singapura: The Lion's Mouth and the Midnight Ride
Friday starts at the old KTM station in Tanjong Pagar, bikes lined up under the colonial arch around 10pm, then a run north over the 2nd Link into Malaysia before the city stirs. The mark riding across this Singapore biker apparel is a heraldic lion, mane out, jaw wide in a roar. It is the animal that gave Singapura its name, the one Sang Nila Utama saw at the river mouth. We picked it over any tourism-board fountain because it belongs to the whole place, not a gift shop. Behind the lion sits the triple-tower skyline off Marina Bay at night and that same Tanjong Pagar arch, plus the packed custom floor of the Singapore Bikers Weekend at the Expo each September. The scene closes on a phrase locals earn on a rough night out: 'to merlion'. Deadpan Singlish, no explanation needed.
Materials & Who It's For
This one is for the Singapore weekend rider who owns the cross-border run into Malaysia, the Singaporean diaspora rider in Australia, the UK, or the US who still calls it home, and the international visitor who made the trip down to the Singapore Bikers Weekend or Wicked Wallop and wants something real to take back. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps are raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
