South Carolina Bobber Apparel
In 1776 a fort built from sabal palmetto logs absorbed cannon fire from a British fleet and didn't break - the spongy wood swallowed the shot. That single fact wrote the palmetto onto South Carolina's flag before the Revolution was over. Today the same tree lines the coastal highways through the Low Country, from Charleston waterway country down to the Grand Strand, while three hours northwest the Blue Ridge foothills near Greenville deal you tight curves through longleaf pine country. Two completely different rides, one state. Original South Carolina biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.
The Fort, the Flag, and the Palmetto State
Picture the coastal highway you ride through the Low Country - palmettos leaning over the tarmac, Spanish moss, salt air building as you drop toward the shore. That is the scene we put on the shirt. The mascot is the sabal palmetto in silhouette, straight trunk and feather-duster crown, the mark South Carolina riders read on sight and the same shape that rides the state flag. We set the crescent beside it to tighten the icon without wearing the full flag like a costume. Around it: a Carolina wren mid-song on a frond, a white-tailed deer alert in longleaf pine, the road bleeding off toward salt water. The banner reads The Palmetto State. Built for the coastal run, the foothill loop, and the meetup at the end of it.
Materials & Who It's For
This one lands for the South Carolinian buying a hometown-pride piece, the tourist who toured the Low Country and wants a real souvenir, and the Southeast touring rider who worked the coastal run or looped the Blue Ridge foothills and needs the shirt to prove it. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
