Austria Bobber Apparel
Every September, up to 200,000 riders from more than 30 countries park nose-in along the shore of Faaker See, mountain peaks of the Karawanken range rising straight out of the water behind them, and the Lake Faak Alpine Bike Week takes over Carinthia for six days. It is Europe's largest motorcycle gathering and Austria earned it. Three hours north, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road climbs 3,798 metres through hairpins and snowfields, one of the most respected touring roads on the continent. This collection is built for everyone who has made either road their own. Original Austria biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.
The Golden Eagle and the Faaker See Shore
Ride the Grossglockner hairpins into Carinthia and you will see them overhead - golden eagles riding the thermals off the peaks, wings spread wide. That is the mark on these shirts. We drew it as a real bird of prey, not an emblem, bold enough to carry a chest or a full back. Around it we built the road you rode to get there: snow-capped peaks reflected in a clear mountain lake, a green Tyrolean valley with a single church spire, the pyramid silhouette of the Grossglockner above the treeline. Each September the Faaker See rally closes with a 25,000-bike parade around that water. That mountain, that lake, and that eagle belong on the same Austria biker shirt.
Materials & Who It's For
This one is made for the rider who makes the Carinthian September trip every year, the Austrian-heritage rider anywhere in the world who wants the homeland on their back, and the European tourer who has run the Grossglockner at least once and wants to remember exactly how those hairpins felt. It works as a souvenir, as a crew shirt for the annual Lake Faak pilgrimage, or as a straight identity piece. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
