France Bobber Apparel

In Biarritz, where the Pyrenees drop toward the Bay of Biscay, a former Basque whaling town turns into the centre of European custom motorcycle culture every June. Surfboards lean against fenders, the Atlantic breaks behind the parked bikes, and five days later everyone leaves knowing France does this differently from anywhere else. The Gallic Rooster anchors the design - defiant, proud, drawn raw - with the Col du Galibier's bare-rock pass and the Circuit Bugatti's flat straight filling the scene around it. Original France biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

The Coq Gaulois and the Atlantic Coast

The mark on these pieces is the Coq Gaulois, the defiant French rooster riders wear on their backs and chests. We drew ours facing forward, comb high, tail feathers fanned, drawn raw with no civic polish. What sits behind him is the France you actually ride: the Col du Galibier's asphalt threading above the treeline at 2,642m, the flat Sarthe countryside around the Le Mans circuit where the endurance race has run every year since 1978, and the Basque coastal skyline at Biarritz that puts surfboards and bikes in the same frame every June. The banner carries 'joie de vivre', the phrase riders use for what that week on the Atlantic coast feels like. Built for the French rider, the June festival regular, and the expat keeping home on their back.

Materials & Who It's For

This one is the right buy for the rider who made the June trip to the Biarritz Atlantic Custom Festival, for the French expat in the US or Australia keeping a piece of home on their back, and for the Le Mans 24H regular who wants the whole country on a shirt, not just the circuit. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
