Italy Bobber Apparel

There are 48 hairpin bends between the valley floor and the Stelvio Pass summit at 2,757 metres, and riders have been counting every one of them since the road opened. Down on the Adriatic coast each May, the Lignano Adriatic Custom Fest has been running since 1987 - four days of air-cooled engines and full-custom builds where the AMD World Championship stops for its Italian round. Each September the red factory gate at via Parodi in Mandello del Lario swings open and 35,000 owners make the pilgrimage to the lake. Italy does not borrow its motorcycle culture from anywhere else. Original Italy biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.

The She-Wolf, Rome, and the Riders Who Claimed Both

Ride the Stelvio once and it stays with you - 48 hairpins, 2,757 metres, the kind of road riders cross a continent to run. That is what these Italy biker shirts are built around. The mark on them is the lupo appenninico, the Apennine wolf, lean and grey-tan and alert. It is the animal you still find on those ridgelines and the oldest symbol Italy has, so it earns its place on a rider's back on its own terms. We drew the live wolf, not the storybook pose. Around it we layer the switchbacks seen from above, the silhouette of a transverse air-cooled V-twin, and the Adriatic skyline that frames the Lignano custom show every spring. Italy's own animal, Italy's own roads, worn by riders in over 70 countries.

Materials & Who It's For

This one is the right buy for the Italian-heritage rider carrying the flag abroad, the Moto Guzzi owner who has made the September Mandello pilgrimage, and the international rider ticking the Stelvio off a bucket list. It works as a souvenir from the Lignano custom week and as a straight identity piece for anyone who grew up calling Italy home. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
