Croatia Bobber Apparel
Between Senj and Maslenica the D8 coastal road presses itself into a limestone cliff with nothing to the right but a hundred scattered Adriatic islands. It is the kind of road riders fly intercontinental to ride once and then talk about for years. Down on the Istrian peninsula, Pula gathers a few days each late August around a Roman amphitheatre that was old when the first cobblestone was laid in the old town - one of the longest-running biker festivals in Southeast Europe, free entry and free camping for anyone who rides in on two wheels. This collection is cut for the riders who know both. Original Croatia biker shirts, printed on heavyweight ring-spun cotton, shipped to riders in over 70 countries.
The Kuna and the Chequerboard
Ride the D8 once and the cliff road stays with you: turquoise water off your right shoulder, islands scattered to the horizon, the marten country of the ridge above. That is why the mark on this gear is the kuna zlatica - the slender, cream-throated pine marten that gave Croatia its currency and runs on the national shield. Fast-looking and Croatian to the core, it belongs to no city and no sport, only to this place. Around it sits the rest of the ride in one frame: the red-and-white sahovnica chequerboard, the arched limestone tiers of the Pula arena where the late-August festival gathers, and the coast dropping away from the road. Built to read clean on the chest and to run full-height across the back.
Materials & Who It's For
This one is the right pick for the European tourer who finally rode the D8 and wants something more honest than a fridge magnet, for the Croatian rider buying a round for their crew, and for anyone who made the late-August Pula festival their summer anchor. Tees are heavyweight 5.3oz ring-spun cotton, side-seamed and pre-shrunk. Hoodies are 8.0oz cotton-poly fleece with double-needle stitching at the stress points. Caps use raised embroidery on a structured six-panel. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships and tracked to your door in over 70 countries.
